It is a wonderful zone with empty beaches in the zone of Santa Cruz de Cabralia. It has a beautiful architecture in its historical colonial center; besides festivities every day in the barracas, enjoying the delicious gastronomy and the contagious rhythms of the berimbaus.
It possesses 80 kilometers of beaches with crystalline waters, white sands, and tropical landscape. Trancoso is one of the most important resorts, with 12 kilometers of coast. In addition, it possesses a Parque Marinho Municipal, which possesses great diversity of species of sea fauna, as marine turtles and 16 of 18 species of corals of the world.
Porto Seguro is four kilometers from Arrial de Ajuda. In that wonderful zone is located the entertaining Paradise Water Park, an area which possesses water chutes and pools with big and small waves. This zone has hundreds of reef and cliffs, being Taipe and Pitinga the most known resorts.
In Porto Seguro is located the Pasarela de Alcool, with the active bahiana night enjoying a fruit shake or a delicious caipirinha, and the Luaus, cabins to the shore of the beach to live these parties next to the sea.
